The mandate of this project was to conceptualize and design a new corporate identity utilizing a logotype for an existing Canadian company. The given brand was EBOX, an internet, television, and telephony provider offering a local and more affordable alternative to the big national providers.
EBOX’s services are offered in Quebec and Ontario. Their target audience is students, young adults, and adults that value affordability. The goal is to create a young, fun, and friendly identity that could entice potential customers to switch to EBOX and adhere to their services.
A color palette of bright orange, white, and black is used throughout the corporate identity to convey the strong electric service of EBOX. Orange is also often used to represent affordability. The logotype represents the letter E in EBOX and also symbolizes an electric circuit. A sans-serif is used for the logotype and for the whole identity to make the brand more friendly and approachable.
